I'm Kristine and I am Mami Pie, too!
If you are a second-time visitor to my blog, you might wonder why I have changed the name from Blissful Days to Mami Pie. Well. my answer for that is as simple as five words:
Mami Pie is sooooo meeee!
This blog started off as Blissful Days in my attempt to write only about our happy family moments. But it seems that I couldn't resist writing about the other things going on in my life - even my rants. Yeah sure you can read even that here. So why won't I just turn this blog into a personal blog that records really everything personal?
And so...
Mami Pie was born after a hard brainstorming...hehe, just kidding.
Anyway Mami is how we pronounce and spell Mommy in our local dialect, Hiligaynon. And Pie, is my other nickname. It has a long story, you know. Haven't you noticed? Pie is a wrong nickname for somebody who's real name is Kristine. I think it deserves another post eh.
So, that's a short history of Mami Pie. And if you happen to read the tagline, it says:
a provinciana girl's journal as a mom, a seaman's wife, and everything that she is.
Yep, I am a provinciana (pro-vin-sha-na) which means a lady from the province, in short a country girl. Definitely, I blog about my life as mom and wife, but take note of and everything that she is part there. I also love sharing my thoughts on everything and anything under the sun that catches my attention.
From time to time, you will read posts about our family, my newly tried recipes, home making and improvement efforts, health research, photography, books, movies, and my opinions on matters that of course concern me. :D
